NEHMA depends on your support to present its exhibitions and educational programming, as well as the care and display of its permanent collections. We receive a portion of our budget from Utah State University, and the rest is raised from individuals, corporations, private foundations and other sources.

Become a Volunteer

NEHMA relies on volunteers to help the museum fulfill its mission to connect people to art. Please fill out a Volunteer Interest Form to learn about the variety of volunteering activities available.

Become a Docent (Exhibition Interpreter)

Docents are volunteers that offer guided tours and inquiry-based discussions about the museum's galleries and exhibitions for children and adult groups. Please contact for more information.

NEHMA offers a variety of internship opportunities, including paid, unpaid (volunteer), and for-credit academic internships to fulfill program requirements. Internships are available in the following areas of emphasis: curatorial, education, digital archives and records management, marketing and promotion, registration, and special events.
