Art in the Afternoon

For the second presentation in our monthly lecture series, Associate Education Curator Elizabeth Benson will discuss that "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" as experience by certain artists in the museum's collection. This non-formal lecture will be held on Wednesday, February 15th from 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m and is free to the public.

What artist spent 12 years building a dream house for his wife? Who wrote "the best love letter [artist Mark Tobey] ever received from anyone"? Guests can learn answers to these questions along with many others as they explore different interpretations of love through modern and contemporary art.

Everyone is welcome to attend this non-formal lecture, ask questions of their own, and participate in the discussion. Refreshments will be served afterwards. For more information please contact Elizabeth Benson with the following email address and phone number below.
